5.Gerd Müller
Gerd Müller was a German former professional footballer. A prolific striker renowned for his clinical finishing, he is regarded as one of the greatest players and goal-scorers in the history of the sport. Gerd was a master in operating near the penalty box & used to be a real threat for goalkeepers.
Müller scored 68 goals in 62 appearances for West Germany. He led his country to victory at the 1974 World Cup, scoring the winning goal in the final against the Netherlands. At club level he was part of Bayern Munich’s golden team that won three consecutive European Cups from 1974 to 1976. He also won Bundesliga 4 times with Bayern Munich. In 1970, he won the prestigious Ballon d’Or too.

Romário is a Brazilian football legend who is widely considered one of the best strikers of all time. Romário is a true football icon and will always be remembered as one of the greatest strikers in history.
His sudden change of pace, low stature & finishing skills made him a star-player for Brazil. His famous duo with Ronaldo Nazário, named Ro-Ro attack did wonders for the Brazilian National Team.
He won the World Cup in 1994, two Copa America in 1989 & 1997 for Brazil making him one of the greatest Brazilians to play football. He also won the eminent FIFA World Player of the Year award in 1994.
3.Ferenc Puskás
Ferenc Puskás is often considered one of the greatest strikers of all time. He was a member of the legendary Hungarian national team, known as the Mighty Magyars, that shocked the world by defeating England 6-3 at Wembley Stadium in 1953. Puskás scored 84 goals in 85 appearances for Hungary.
Puskás won the La Liga title 5 times in a row & European Cup 3 times with Real Madrid. He is considered one of the greatest players to ever play for Real Madrid & is an icon not only for Spain but also for the whole world. He also won the FIFA World Cup Golden Ball in 1954.
2.Ronaldo Nazário
Ronaldo Nazário, nicknamed El Fenomeno, is widely considered to be one of the greatest strikers of all time. He is one of the few players to have won the FIFA World Player of the Year award three times. Ronaldo Nazário began his career with Cruzeiro, before joining PSV Eindhoven in 1994. He then moved to Barcelona in 1996, but his time at Barcelona was short-lived, and he signed for Inter Milan in 1997.
He was a robust striker who was as fast as lightning & used to dribble down defenders with ease. He inspired a new breed of strikers & made football more entertaining to watch.
R9 won the FIFA World Cup two times in his career, he also won two Copa Americas making him one of the most successful Brazilian footballer. He also held the Ballon d’Or for two times.
1.Pele
There’s no doubt that Pele is one of the best strikers ever to play football. He was a prolific goal-scorer, scoring a total of 757 official goals in his career. Pele was also a master of dribbling, often leaving defenders in his wake. He was a true magician on the pitch, and his skills are still revered by football fans today. Nicknamed The King, Pele helped Brazil win three World Cups.
Pele won the FIFA Player of the Century award, which alone speaks for his greatness. While being one of the greatest to ever play the game, he also is one of the most influential sportsmen of all time.
The most of any player, he has won the FIFA World Cup three times. Still, Trophies and honours can’t really express how fantastic Pele’s game was.
